AISSAC was pleased and honoured to discern the AISSAC Lifetime Achievement Award to Professor Ojelanki Ngwenyama for his outstanding contributions to the field Information Systems in Southern Africa.
Prof Ngwenyama, a renowned international scholar, has contributed to teaching and research in Southern African for the past ten years. He has imparted knowledge, wisdom and experience to both academics and students and has contributed significantly to the standard and quality of our research outputs. He is seen by many as a mentor. Under his guidance, students have completed their PHDs with flying colours. He has helped academics develop their research profiles resulting in numerous promotions, as well as new/improved NRF ratings.
Through this award, we wish to convey how much we value Prof Ngwenyama's contributions, input and dedication. We look forward to more collaboration and partnerships with him in the future.
