AIS SAAISSAC

SECTION 1. NAME.

The name of this organization shall be the Southern African Chapter of the Association for Information Systems, abbreviated as AISSAC, and hereafter referred to as the Chapter.

SECTION 2. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE.

The Southern African Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AISSAC) is a Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) serving the Southern African region, including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angola, Lesotho, Swaziland, Congo, Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles, Tanzania and Zambia. The purpose of the Chapter is to promote the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars and professionals in said countries, in the Southern African region engaged in the development, management, and use of information systems and technology.
